The best is yet to come

I keep a poem tacked to the wall above my desk. The tattered copy has traveled with me to various jobs, bolstered me through difficult times in my relationships, served me during challenging career moves, and even shored up my confidence once when I was fired] The poem by Marianne Williamson is titled "Our Deepest Fear." It begins: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God."
